Our commitment to Spiritual, Moral, Social & Cultural Development
At school, we are consistently developing each child’s Spiritual, Moral, Social and Cultural (SMSC) learning. This is evident throughout the day and can be seen through our topics, visits and other activities; we encourage our parents to get involved at home with these areas by promoting tolerance, independence and extra-curricular interests, as well as developing them as an active British citizen and a positive Islamic role model for the community.
To produce the type of young adults we aspire to SMSCD is vital.
In addition to the spiritual ethos that runs through the school we will be teaching and allowing the girls to experience all areas of life from an Islamic perspective to enable them to become upstanding British Muslim citizens, responsible role models and future leaders.
This will involve Themed Days, Trips, Guest Speakers, School Responsibilities, Visitors, Charitable Work, School Linking, eventual School Council, Rewards, Clubs.
